Braving the Middle Ground: Stories of Pre-Revolutionary Northern New England
Please come to the Conway Public Library on Monday, September 29 at 6:30 pm, as storyteller Jo Radner takes us back to a time of remarkable change, sharing and comparing Native American and English settler stories from over 300 years ago. A New Hampshire Humanities Council event.
This is the week of 1 Book 1 Valley’s big event. Roland Merullo, author of The Talk-Funny Girl, will be in the Mount Washington Valley on Thursday, October 24, first for a discussion with local writers’ groups (all are welcome) at 2 pm at Granite State College. Then, the big event is at 7 pm, when Roland Merullo will read from and talk about the book, and answer your questions at the Lutheran Church of the Nativity in North Conway. (The World Series starts over an hour later, come and still see most of the game.)
