Just added: a program for local writers

photo of Roland MerulloLocal writers and writers’ groups are invited to meet with 1 Book 1 Valley author Roland Merullo for an informal discussion on working as a full-time writer and getting published on Thursday, October 24 at 2 pm in Room 211 at Granite State College’s Conway campus, 53 Technology Lane #150, Conway, NH 03818.

Roland Merullo has published with large and small publishing houses, and has recently funded one of his books via Kickstarter. He generously offered to add this meeting with writers as part of his visit to the Mount Washington Valley for 1 Book 1 Valley.

The fourth program on themes found in this year’s book, The Talk-Funny Girl, will take place at the Madison Library on Wednesday, October 9 at 7 pm.

Plymouth State University Professor Linda Upham-Bornstein will give an illustrated talk on the rise and decline of New Hampshire’s pulp and papermaking industry, from the 19th to the 21st century.
