The statistics for this year’s program have been compiled. We counted 561 readers for The Talk-Funny Girl, second highest in 1 Book 1 Valley history, after 2011’s Following Atticus. This year was also second highest for number of people who attended book discussions and also for the number of people who went to special 1 Book 1 Valley events.

What a great turnout we had for Roland Merullo’s presentation on October 24! About 160 of you showed up to hear Roland Merullo answer your many excellent questions about The Talk-Funny Girl and his writing process. We were impressed with his thoughtful responses, and the care he shows for both his characters and his readers.
We’ll post some statistics with attendance at our various events and how many readers participated, along with your survey responses, in a couple of weeks.
