What a great turnout we had for Roland Merullo’s presentation on October 24! About 160 of you showed up to hear Roland Merullo answer your many excellent questions about The Talk-Funny Girl and his writing process. We were impressed with his thoughtful responses, and the care he shows for both his characters and his readers.
We’ll post some statistics with attendance at our various events and how many readers participated, along with your survey responses, in a couple of weeks.
This is the week of 1 Book 1 Valley’s big event. Roland Merullo, author of The Talk-Funny Girl, will be in the Mount Washington Valley on Thursday, October 24, first for a discussion with local writers’ groups (all are welcome) at 2 pm at Granite State College. Then, the big event is at 7 pm, when Roland Merullo will read from and talk about the book, and answer your questions at the Lutheran Church of the Nativity in North Conway. (The World Series starts over an hour later, come and still see most of the game.)
