Ed Parsons wrote a wonderful review of Following Atticus for his hiking column that appeared in this past Saturday’s Conway Daily Sun.

Some books are pleasant and just end. After some, and these are few and far between, you need to take a deep breath before moving on. You have had an experience, have shared a vital part of someone’s life. After “Following Atticus,” you need a few deep breaths.

The Following Atticus Book Launch, where you can meet both Tom and Atticus, is Tuesday, September 20 at 7 pm at the Theater in the Wood in Intervale. Ed Parsons will speak about hiking in all seasons on Wednesday, November 9 at 7 pm at the Cook Memorial Library in Tamworth.

“When can I get a copy of the book?”

For the first time, One Book, One Valley will feature a brand new publication. Following Atticus will be released by the publisher on September 20, and the book launch celebration with the author, Tom Ryan will be held right here in the Valley on that day. All are welcome to attend this event, hosted by White Birch Books at the Theater in the Wood in Intervale at 7 pm on September 20.

Books will be available to borrow at participating libraries shortly after September 20. Check with your library for information on how to place a hold.
