2017’s first event was held August 25th at M&D Playhouse. Monica Wood read a couple of passages from The One-in-a-Million Boy, and talked about some of the people, places, and things that influence her writing.
Monica wants everyone to know that, even though we find out that the boy has died on page two, this book is not sad and depressing, it is life-affirming and has a lot of humor in it. Readers who have read it will agree. Pick up a copy at your library or at White Birch Books and read it for yourself, you’ll be glad you did.
